What’s a day?

A “day” is an amount of time that you and I feel is reasonable and enough to get a satisfactory amount of work done. Usually sessions will begin around 12pm and last around 10-12 hours.

I charge by the day so that no one feels rushed, and for easier budgeting and scheduling.

What if it takes less time to mix my tracks?

Every project is unique and has its own needs. I am more than willing to possibly cut a deal if I think its warranted. I have mixed a 10 song singer-songwriter record in 4 hours. However, I recorded it as well. If I receive suboptimal recordings, tracks requiring audio repair, extravagant and/or dense arrangements, etc. the amount of resources it takes to achieve a final product both you and I are satisfied with can increase. a note on mastering

I offer mastering as an affordable alternative for clients that are on a tight budget. I am not a mastering engineer. Mastering requires a distinct set of skills and equipment. I am more than happy to master your music, but I highly recommend going to a dedicated mastering engineer.
